Person That Grabbed Ariana Grande during Red Carpet Event Barred from Singapore

A man from Australia who vaulted over a barricade and touched actress Ariana Grande has been sent away and banned from Singapore.

The man, 26, was sentenced to nine days in jail for being a public nuisance and has now been "banned from entering the country again," Singaporean immigration authorities told local media.

The man shoved beyond security and approached aggressively the celebrity, who was participating in the Asian premier for the film on the thirteenth of November. Co-star Cynthia Erivo wrestled him away from Grande.

"I believe he had no intention to us danger, but you never know with those things, and I aimed to confirm that she was OK. That was my initial reaction," she said.
