Two men have been charged following a luggage theft where a suspected capsaicin spray led to people being hurt at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two robbery charges and two counts of using a harmful chemical, authorities have stated.

This legal action stems from an probe of an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Earlier that day, two female travelers had their luggage stolen after getting out of a car park lift, according to law enforcement.

A three-year-old girl was among those injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to a medical facility and were later discharged.

This event – which authorities stated was not part of a series and not considered a terror-related act – caused train delays and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
